This weekend, my 11 year old bought his first parakeets- Sammy and Mango. It was a precious thing. I love Birds. My nickname is even Bird. And, now my son is a bird lover too. He even shook his hands in the air quickly like I used to do when I was excited as a child. The best part of the experience though was right before he went to sleep. He looked at me and exclaimed… “Mom. I am just so happy.” So, thank you Mango and Sammy for filling my son and my heart up with happy.
